Subject: [SCFLOREN] Ezra COURTNEY (1825-1864) & Isabella Elizabeth JAMES (1825-1906)

Ezra COURTNEY (1825-1864) and Isabella Elizabeth JAMES (1825-1906) raised a
family in what later became Florence County. I have been unable to get a
firm lead on the families of these two people. I believe that Ezra's father
was a John COURTNEY born about 1778 in Williamsburg and died 15 Sep 1867 who
married a lady named Rachel. The evidence is faily solid that this John was
the father of Ezra. However, I have been unable to connect this John to any
of the other COURTNEYs that were in the area at that time. The father of
Isabella was supposedly name Joshua. I have no information on him. Any clues
to the people would be appreciated. Thanks.
