Yes, they are. My gr gr grandmother, Nancey Scott Wham was Mary K. Scott
Austin's sister. They were the daughters of John and Sarah McCullough Scott
who immigrated from Rasharkin, County Antrim, Ireland about 1848. They
settled in lower Greenville County because Sarah had uncles & cousins in
that area -- and John Scott stayed with Joe McCullough while preparing
to send for his family to join him. You and I corresponded by email --
perhaps regarding a "Scott" website about a year ago -- not sure of the
time. At any rate, I believe that Rebecca Scott's post indicates that she
is also related to these Scotts. Waiting to hear from her to confirm.
