Elijah Browning witnessed the 1840 will of Hugh Poore--they lived in the
Shady Grove community of Anderson Dist. SC!

Alexander, et. al, p. 90: [Anderson Dist. SC] Will of Hugh Poor, dtd. 24
Jan. 1840, proven 11 May 1840. Wits: Joseph Cox, Elijah Browning, George W.
Poor.
