Surname: McKiney, McKinney, Stockton, Ballard, Francis, Thomas
-------------------------

1840 Greenville Dist 01
Plesant McKiney - 30 & under 40
female 30 & under 40
child - under 5

I am looking for any McKiney/McKinneys that might tie in with this line.
They migrated from Greenville,SC to Itawamba Co., Mooreville, MS. They
are buried in the Boguefala Baptist Cemetery, now Lee Co., Mooreville,
Ms.

Boguefala Baptist Cemetery
Pleasant McKinney - October 30, 1800 SC to January 15, 1864
Sarah(?) McKinney - died October 28, 1885 (estimate her birth, based on
census records, to be abt. 1812 SC)
Rev W. H. McKinney - April 27, 1836 SC to July 11, 1888
John Davis McKinney - age unknown, brother of Rev William McKinney died
just before(rest unreadable)

They are listed on the 1850 Itawamba Co, Ms census
1850 Itawamba Co., MS
Pleasant McKinney 45 SC
Sarah 36 SC
William 14 SC

There is another family from SC listed next to them on the 1850 Itawamba
Co., Ms census, Hugh and Nancy Gregory. I would like to talk with anyone
researching variations of the McKinney name, in Greenville Co, SC. I have
not been able to find any marriage records or wills. They are not on the
1830 Greenville census. Thanks, Kim
