Does anyone have knowledge of JOSEPH SOWELL who died in Greenville Co.
about 1790? The administrator of his estate was MARY S. SUMMERLIN (formerly
MARY S. SOWELL). Was she his widow? She is called Susannah in some records.

MARY SUSANNAH SOWELL SUMMERLIN died in Greenville Co. in 1826 while living
in the household of REUBEN MC KENZIE. REUBEN MC KENZIE (1770-1853) is my
ancestor and I am trying to learn if this lady was the mother of Reuben's
wife, Susannah ___.
