Thanks so much for your info. I would be most interested in seeing that will of David Shelton which mentions William and Joel. There are 2 Williams, some Johns/Jonathan, and a Joel in the Greenville Co. census' in the first half of the 1800's--I am sure one of them is the father of John Shelton (my g.-g.-father) that I am looking for. I have not seen this will on-line. i live just outside NY City which makes it hard to research Greenville SC relatives! Thanks for any leads you can provide.
