Seeking info on the parents of Joseph NELSON (b. ca 1788 SC) and his wife, Polly __?__ (b. ca 1794 SC) who may have m. ca 1810. They moved to Overton and Jackson Counties, TN, possibly with members of ANDERSON, CROCKER, and WILLIAMS families. Their descendants moved to MO and married within these families. Children: Rebecca (b. ca 1814 TN) m. Hiram HAMILTON; "Lucrecy" Tine m. Arthur WILLIAMS; Robert m. Nancy Jane PRYOR; William; Margaret m. William HAWKINS; Joseph m. Margaret BUTLER; Julia; Mary; Soloman m. Mary B. __?__; Nancy; and Matthew. They are on the 1830 Overton Co, TN census along with possible brothers or cousins of Joseph: John, Robert, Samuel and William NELSON.
