Does anyone have any info on an Elijah MAYFIELD who had a land grant on
Golden Creek in the present Pickens Co., then the Pendleton Dist. of SC?

He was in Pendleton Dist., SC, in 1789 and listed as living on land
bordering George MILLER, my ancestor. It is possible that this Elijah
MAYFIELD had a dau., Hester Elizabeth, who md. Isaac MILLER, Sr., the son of
George MILLER.

I would be extremely grateful for anything that anyone might be willing to
offer!
