I have noted in research on other surnames that there seems to be a
connection with the Beaverdam and Forks of the Pigeon Communities in Haywood
CO, NC and the communities in the upper part of Greenville CO, such ad
Highland, Saluda, Glassy Mt, Cleveland, and earlier Beaverdam, Panther Fork,
Fort Motley etc.
