What a generous offer to give your time to help those of us who are far away. God bless you. My great grandmother, Mary Malinda (or Marinda) Trammell was from Greenville Co, SC. I believe her father was Jeremiah Trammell, Jr. who died in the Civil War. Her mother, possibly, was Malinda. She was born in 1862 but I cannot find her or her mother in the '70 census. She had at least one brother, Benjamin who was born in 1859. My great grandmother married William Foster Marshall Cox of Honea Path, SC in about 1882 and they lived in South Carolina until they moved to Texas in 1895.

If there are any resources that you know of that can help me locate her, I'd be very appreciative. I suspect that her mother remarried following the death of Jerry Trammell and I don't have a last name to follow.
