Would your Elizabeth Kemp be related to Aaron Kemp who sold and bought land
from my gggggrandfather Benjamin Barbare. Benjamin along with Aaron,
Elizabeth, Moses, Thomas and Henry Kemp also purchased items from a sale of
Polly Kemp that was ordered May 12, 1813. Aaron Kemp, Sr. also witnessed
the deed selling the property from Benjamin's widow to the Barbare children.
I have long thought that the Barbares and Kemps may have been related in the
late 1700's but have not been able to prove it. We have not been able to
find the maiden name of Benjamin's wife Sally. I have even wondered if she
was a Kemp. Benjamin died in 1817 in Greenville, SC and Sally died about
1848.

Culpepper, d Sep 1840 Gwenetter, Gerogia, married to Unknown Jamima (1760).
Enoch is the son of William Prue Benson, 1720 of Stafford, Va., d 9 Feb
1792, Greenville, South Carolina, married to Elizabeth Thomason, who may
have been Elizabeth Berry Thomason, or William may have had two wives, one
Berry, the other Thomason, I'm still trying to verify this. William Prue's
father was Robert b 11 Feb 1685 at Greenville, and married Frances Prue or
Prow. They had 8 children. I am the descendent ofReuben Benson and
Elizabeth Kemp. I have more on these lines.
