This might be exciting! I'm helping a friend research her family. Her great-grandmother, Pearl Johnson (m-1 Albert J. Boutwell, m-2 ? White), might be a daughter of James and Cassie Johnson. We're waiting to get Pearl's death certificate to see if her parents are listed, but I have a tentative census match linking Pearl to James/Cassie and perhaps Cassie to the Ballew family. In addition, my friend's mother said Pearl's grandmother was a "Balou" (she didn't know anything else).
