Seeking information on any Redman or associated families 1780-1850 Greenville/Spartanburg areas.


John Redman 1790 Spartanburg census, also 1800, 1810
Wife Rachael, sons John Jr, William, Bailey, daughter Mary and unknown daughter who married Bennett Wilson before 1810 (Bennett's first wife).

William Readmand 1790 Spartanburg census

Richard Redman 1830 Spartanburg census, wife possibly Elizabeth Brookshire

William Redman Greenville - wife possibly Frances

Reuben Redman, Greenville - wife possibly Mourning

James Redman, Greenvile

Alexander Redman, Greenville, Forsyth Co GA by 1840, wife Miriam

Nathaniel Redman, Greenville, wife Mary, in De Kalb AL 1860.

Elizabeth Redman, Greenville, possible widow of one of above.

Some were members of Brushy Creek Baptist Church

Both groups had land Abner's Creek, Big Durbin Creek areas as earlier as 1784

Name also spelled Redmon, Redmond, Readman, etc.
