Where exactly in the Nacogdoches District was your family in E. Texas. I
live in Carthage and have children in Nacogdoches.
My Texas lines were in Hopkins Co. My SC lines went to Georgia, Alabama and
Texas.

Welcome, Suzanne--I know we're all glad to have you be our administrator!

MY SURNAMES: HARLING - WALKER - and *many* intermarriages such as OUZTS,
TIMMERMAN, STONE, etc.
Edgefield District and Greenwood County, SC

Tillman HARLING and wife, Martha Jane WALKER are my
great-great-grandparents.
They are buried in Bold Spring Church Cemetery. Their 12th child, Pierce
Butler HARLING, b. 1872 Edgefield District, is my g-grandfather. He
migrated
to Texas by the early 1890s and married Mattie Elizabeth ALLISON, who was
several generations removed from the ALLISONs of Laurens Co., SC.
(ALLISONs:
Scotland to VA by early 1600s to SC before 1774, then thru AL and TN,
arriving
in the Nacogdoches District of East Texas in 1834.)
