The November Meeting of the Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society
(OEDGS) will
be held Sunday afternoon, November 9th at 3 PM. It will be at the D A
Tompkins Library
on the Square in Edgefield. The program will be on the massive amounts of
new
Genealogical material recently discovered in the attics of several
buildings in Edgefield.
This find has been cited by the Dept of Archives & History as the "most
significant find in the last quarter of a century in SC."

Come join us and see hear about what has been discovered. Some items are
dated in the 1770's

Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
