Trying to identify the family of this Joseph Rearden. Is he the brother of
Mary Rearden who married Jordan Holloway son of Reuben Holloway.

Probate records for Joseph Rearden. VERY - Hard to read.
[Did not get dates, sorry] Will go back and get.

Joseph may have married a Rachel, as one 'Rachel Rearden' is named Jan 7, 1831
when she receives $270. Or I guess she could have been a daughter?

One James H. Capehart is applying for back 'room and board' for John Rearden,
but since he worked John and his Negro, the adms. court says that he is not
owed any room & board. The document states that John was first living living
with his mother, but seems to indicate he went to work for James H. Capehart.
It does not name his mother.

Holloways and connecting families that jumped out at me who were listed as
purchasers besides Jordan: L. G. Holloway, Caleb Holloway, Wm. Holloway,
Eldred Bird, Henry Blocksom, Daniel Bird, Jacob Harling; Nancy Rardin bought a
chair.

Paid one Mary C. Rearden $20.

A couple of pages look like they might contain information on legatees, but
they are torn and water damages. I could not make out the info. on the
microfilm. Maybe the original would be easier to read.

The Holloways that are named are connected to the Reuben Holloway line.
Reuben had sons Caleb (1767-1840), William (1765-1838) and Jordan Holloway
(1775-1862), not Jordan Meekins Holloway (d. 1815) who is the son of Jesse
Holloway d. April 1818 and father of my Elijah Holloway.

Henry Blockson/Bloxom was second huband of Elizabeth Nobles, who's first
husband was Daniel Holloway, son of the above William b. 1765.

L. G. Holloway is either Lewellyn G. or Levi Garrison Holloway, sons of Jordan,
son of Reuben.

Eldred Bird is the husband of Mary Edna Holloway, daughter of Jordan Holloway,
son of Reuben.

Daniel Bird - I am not sure of this one. The Daniel Bird I have, son of Eldred
Milledge Bird was born about 1831, so would not be able to purchase if the will
was written anywhere around the 1831 date mention in my extraction.
The other one might work, and he is the father of Eldred Bird:

Jacob Harling - I don't know about this one. I have two Jacobs, but don't see
the Holloway connection in the info. I have.

Nancy Rardin (Rearden?) - I don't know who she is either.
