They following are buried together at the Rocky Creek Church. [ HC Ouzts
identifies Mary S. as Salome BLUE, wife of Lane. He also identifies Elizabeth
as a daughter.]

William Preston Bledsoe was married several times. I have searched for the
death certificates of his wives to try to sort them out for another reseacher.
I have just recently found the 2nd Susie that he married.

I think this is what happened.

Since Annie Bledsoe is listed in the hh as a boarder along with William Preston
Bledsoe in 1900, might one ASSUME that she is his wife. HC Ouzts has come to
that conclusion. No other verification known to me at this time. More proof
needed.

Since wife Sarah Seigler died in 1935, the following marrage announcement shows
another marriage to Mrs. Susie Seigler
Augusta Chronicle, Nov. 15, 1936
"Their many friends will be interested in learning of the marriage of Mr.
William Preston Bledsoe, Saluda, SC to Mrs. Susie Seigler, widow of Mr. Charles
Seigler of Modoc, SC which took place Wed. Nov 11, at 11 oclock at the home of
the Rev. J. S. Dukes who performed the ceremony. The couple are planning to
make their home in Saluda."

1st Susie was a Seigler by birth; 2nd Susie was widow of Susie Seiglers
brother Charles:

Magnolia Cem. info. on her, so don't know if she is buried as a Still or a
Hamilton.

CAN ANYONE PROVE THIS TO BE HIS WIFE? Or is this another Martha Vary Still?

This one contains conflicting info. on a Peter M. Dorn that I have seen as the
son of Sarah OUZTS & Wright Peter Dorn. According to other info. I have been
sent, he married Elizabeth Caroline STEVENS, d/o Sarah SADLER & Elisha Stevens.
But note the DC has his father as an H. Dorn??? I have no research to resolve
this conflict. Wife's name is a conflict as well.
