Searching for ancestors of Wilhelm Schindler. At 18 he immigrated to the U.S.A. from Hamburg, Germany to New York City aboard the S.S.Herder in 1880. The passenger list indicates his origin was Obersimonswald; Baden, Germany. He settled in Canton, Ohio and remained there for life. Have complete family history from the United States and am willing to share with interested parties.
