Hello!
When I visited Mölln, I bought some books that has pictures and
descriptions of the town in Holstein- Herzogtum Lauenburg and one
for Schlewig-Holstein. They also sell maps of the villages showing
the street names, where the church and cemeteries are located just
like they do here in the states. They are also copyrighted.
In Mölln, the Rathaus (Courthouse) was built in 1373 and is still
standing. There is a musuem and the church close by. Surrounding
these building are other buildings dating from 1600's...It feels like
you have just gone back through time.
My German is terrible so I don't know whch address and phone
number to give from the books.. I do remember getting a book from the
libary published by Genealogical Publishing Company that listed
publishers in Germany.

I have given this just in case anyone was interested in it
Also in the states there is a magazine called "German Life" that is
written in English and has articles of Germany and USA.
I have the address for it too if anyone would like to have it.
I am not connected to the magazine. I found it at the library and
have enjoyed it plus it has addressess where you can buy german food
which I really do miss and haven't found a place here in Valdosta,
Georgia.
