According to my granfather's death certificatehe was born about 1842 in
Spandon Germany . Is this the same as Spannon or Spandet. I found a
Spannon on the map near Rendsburg and I also saw a Spandet. How do I
find where this is and how do I find the name and address of the parish
where he was born? His father was a soldier. I am wondering if this was
part of Germany or of Denmark when he was born. Can anyone help me or
tell me where I might find someone who can help me. His name was Rudolph
Lindow, father's name August and mother's name Mary?
