Subject: Passage costs
>Based on responses I received from an earlier posting, it seems that the
>of passage (3rd class) in 1882 was around $35. The exact amount, however,

>So, would anyone know the 3rd class costs for passage on the "Suevia"
>departing on a September 27, 1882 voyage from Hamburg/Harve to New York?
