Margaret,

Have you tried to find your ancesters on the Censuses of the area? For
the 1860 census in the FHC you would order 0039611, and should find the
area around Bordelum in the Bredstedt AMT section.

If you would like other census numbers for the S-H area I would be happy
to look them up for you.

If anyone finds any Windfeldt surnames around the S-H before 1710,
please keep me in mind and let me know. According to the Deezbull
church records, (I think it is), Ingeborg Windfelds d. 1736 and was said
to have beem interned in Borlum which we believe probably was intended
to be Bordelum.
