I am trying to make contact with descendants of my greatgreatgrandfather's
Hasselmann line. He was Friedrich-Franz Hasselmann (1797-1870) whom I have
listed in family records as a pastor in Daenischenhagen. He was married to
Elisabeth Lampe (1801-1886). His older brother was Karl Friedrich
Christian H. (1794-1882), Hauptpastor at St. Nikolai in Kiel; his younger
brother was Zacharias H (1799-1845) married to Margaretha Geerdts
(1797-1872); his father was Zacharias H. (1758-1830), Kammerrat and
Amstverwalter, who lived in Plon and Reinfeld and was married to Dorothea
Jensen (1760-1788) and then Charlotte Jensen (1750-1810); and his
ggrandfather was General Superintendent from Neumunster, Friedrich Franz H.
(1713-1784). Two of my ggrandfather's children, Zacharias (1828-1884) and
my ggrandmother Karoline (1831-1914) emigrated to Brazil around 1850. But
there were three other children who married: Margarethe Henriette to Propst
Niels Schmidt (1826--1901), Dr. Claus Friedrich Karl H. who was Propst in
Husum and Johannes H. (1841-1900) who was a doctor in Hadersleben.
Hopefully there are descendants of this line who might be interested in
contacting me.
