Thanks to all who replied to my inquiry about the area known as Angeln.
Now, can someone tell me how far to the west the Angeln area would
extend. There probably were no definite boundaries, but would cities of
Flensburg and Schleswig be considered in Angeln, or are they to far to
the west? My ancestors from that area indicated they were from Angeln
instead of Schleswig or Schleswig/Holstein. Thanks
