Anita,
Thanks for your generous offer! Do you by chance have any Klahn's from
Grossenaspe? I'm looking for Johan Klahn b. 18 Dec 1811 m. Elizabeth Jastorp
(not 100% sure of the last name) and had these children: Johann b. 19 May
1844, Anna b. 9 Nov 1847, Heinrich and Julius. The family came to America in
the late 1850's and settled in Davenport, Scott Co., IA. Julius may have
died prior to the family leaving Germany as I have never found him here. I
did find the family in the 1855 census in Grossenaspe. Thanks for your time.
