I would have a bit of a problem with the German also. Should have said that.
I may be able to find someone locally here to help though. I haven't used
the LDS records very much, mostly regular libraries and archives, plus a
limited amount of travel. Are any of the LDS censuses online? I haven't
found them, if so.
