Hello,
I have about 85 persons named Kruse in my data base. Most ore from the
Huetten area of Schleswigh Holstein. I have a great history of Brekendorf
where my Schnack family originated, and it has many pages of Genealogy data
in it according what surname owned what properties at what time. I have
gone through the information repeatedly, adding all ancestors and all
descendants to each new surname that first married a Schnack and later that
connected to anyone else. I am going through it still another time trying
to proofread everything. I do not know which Kruse to give you. Detlef
Schnack, who married Catherina Kruse joined company E on 22Aug 1862,
according to a Clinton County History I have Pg. 474. I notice that there
was a P Kruse that entered the same company the same day. I am curious if
this would be her brother Johann Kruse who was born in Huetten on 23 Aug
1836. He is listed on pg, 373 in the new printing of the 1879 Clinton
County History. I would be glad to share data with you on any of the Kruses
I have if there is a connection, but don't know where to start. Inge
