Linda and John: I am also researching KOCK. Also REIMERS.

I don't know what part of Germany they were from but my great great
grandparents were Heinrich Rudolph KOCK and Johanna Maria Christina REIMERS.
I have recently found in immigration records that they arrived in the U.S.
in August of 1885. In those records their name was spelled KOCK. In many
of our other records the spelling of the name apparently was changed to
KOCH.

I don't have any names for Johanna's parents. The names I have for
Heinrich's parents are Johann Rudolph KOCK and Margaretha Catherina
Frederike RIMER. Birth date I have for Heinrich is 17 Feb. 1828. Johanna's
birthdate shows as 17 Oct. 1829, and they were married 3 May 1850 in
Germany.

Any of these fit into your family history?
