How wonderful of you to take on that job. That future book sounds very
interesting. Does he have references to individuals on his cards? My
ancestor, Fritz Vollstedt, emigrated in 1849 on a "small boat" and has a
biography in Harry Downer's History of Scott County. I have not been able to
trace him in Germany or find any siblings.
