Pomerania seems to be a latin form of the german word "Pommern" which is the name of a region which belonged to Germany before World War II and now is a part of Poland. A lot of "Radmer"-families not necessarily related to another are coming from that region. My familiy came from a small village which german name is "Groß Jestin". It is near to the town Szczecin (or "Stettin" in german) in Poland.
