My stepmother has informed me that there used to be a Schoening castle
somewhere in Germany. I have checked the internet and can find no such
castle. Apparently she was promised by my father that if they ever went to
Germany he would take her to visit it. This could be the key to where my
German ancestors lived. Does anyone have access to resources to determine
if such a castle existed? My father is deceased so I can't ask him about
it.
