Found additional TAYLOR info to search for.
John Taylor (1770-1832), Gov of SC (1826-8), descendant of Col. Thomas Taylor
(1743-1833) and brother James, much of whose plantation lands were sold to the
state for the formation of the city of Columbia, SC.
