I saw this post and wonder if Paula would respond about Duke Roberts
born
1825, Marion Co. SC died May 10, 1892, Columbia SC and wife Elizabeth
Richardson. Would this Duke Roberts be the father of Minnie Sumter
Roberts
who married William David Lewis?

Hi, Wanda, My name is Paula and I got your e-mail from the Avant
genforum. I also have Richardsons and Roberts in my family. Here's
what little I have My grandmother was Anna Elizabeth Richardson Avant.
She married Wade Hampton Avant. Her father was William henry Richardson
born June 24, 1856 Marion Co, SC and died Aug. 24, 1936 in Chadborun
NC. Her mother was Sarah Martha (Mattie) Roberts, born Aug 5, 1858
Marion Co., SC and died April 17, 1945, Chadbourn, NC. William Henry's
father was Ervin Richardson born 1834 and his mothere was Ann Pace
Richardson born 1830. Sarah Martha(mattie)'s father was Duke Roberts
born 1825, Marion Co. SC died May 10, 1892, Columbia SC. Her mother was
Elizabeth Richardson born 1837, Marion Co. SC and died in Gerogetown
SC(no date). If I can get any other information from my Dad I will.
