Dear Rootsweb Members:
In recent weeks I have had inquiries re. various Horry and nearby
county's men that served in the WBTS, which I could not fully answer or
not answer at all, based upon a website cited in today's SCHORRY by
, I found data on many of
these gentleman and others that should be of interest, on this excellent
website:
http://home.att.net/~jbgooch/roster.html. This site features good
detail and info on the 10th SC Vols, and Companies A, B, C, G, and M,
that were predominately made-up of Horry men and I recommend it to you
if you are seeking a "lost" confederate ancestor.
Several of you inquired re. W.J. Jordan, who according to the data on
this site, was killed on picket near Atlanta, GA in 1864, 10th SCV, Co
"M".
Good luck with your search for your glorius Confederate ancestors.
Julian
