Hi,
I would love to find out where my Neely relatives from Horry County, SC
are buried so that I can visit the graves this summer. (I live in
Cincinnati, Ohio.) The Neelys may have come from Columbus County, NC.
So I suppose they could be buried there. They are Joe E. Neely (born in
the 1860s in NC) and Sharlotte (maybe Charlotte) (maiden name unknown,
but maybe Lee) (born in the 1850s in SC) of Bayboro, Horry County, SC.
Their son, my grandfather, was Joseph Bowden Neely, Sr. who married
Nettie King. Their other children were Ruthie and Ada Neely. If I
could only be in the Horry County area a couple of days, where would you
suggest I do some research to try to find their graves and more about
them? I would appreciate any leads. Thanks.
