Reunion #2 says Kessiah Coleman m. Elias Jernigan, Sr., b c 1802 and that
they lived in Horry Co., SC, and had the following children:
Luvenia Jernigan b. c. 1842 m. Tyler
Charity Jernigan b. c 1844 m. Grainger
Samuel Jernigan b. Oct 1847 m. Elizabeth
Alva Jernigan, v. c. 1849 m. Louise
Julia Ann Jernigan b. c. 1853
John Q. Jernigan b. c 1855
Elia Jernigan, Jr., b. c 1857

pg. 184
Charles Jernigan of Columbus Co, NC., was either a son or grandson of Jesse
Jernigan. who moved from Wayne to Robeson and then on into Horry, SC,
Charles was in Columbus Co, NC in 1850 where he listed his age a 60, and
born
in SC. He married Sarah Coleman, the daughter of Theophilus Coleman. Their

children were:
Andrew
David
Wilson
Martha
Margaret Avy
Willis

Not a clue as to which Jernigan m. Patty Coleman. Anyone have any ideas on
this one?
