Also, Sarah Edmonson has started a new site, dedicated to transcribing
copies of The Horry Herald, from its inception in 1886 to the turn of the
century. She's included quite a bit of background information, ranging
from history of the paper to identifying key players, poltiicians,
etc. It's a wonderful site, and anyone with Horry connections in that time
period definitely needs to see it! Sarah has included a search engine as
well. The URL for her site is

I believe this catches me up on everything that's been sent in over the
