Cecil Todd Buffkin, 60, of the Spring Branch community, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at Loris Extended Care Facility, after an illness.
She was born May 4, 1941, in Loris. She was the wife of William Elroy Buffkin of Nichols and the daughter of the late Von Cliff Todd and Louise Smith Todd.
She was a former cafeteria manager at Green Sea Floyds High School, co-owner/operator of Spring Branch Grocery and a member of Langston Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Ricky Lowder and his wife, Carla, of Green Sea and Marc Buffkin and his wife, Natalie, of Loris; a daughter, Gail Sarvis of Green Sea; four brothers, Freeman, Harvey, and Johnny Todd, all of Conway, and George Todd of Loris; two sisters, Eloise Stroud and Carolyn Watts, both of Loris; three grandchildren, Jill Sarvis of Green Sea, Chad Sarvis and his wife, Hope, of Loris and Karen Lowder of Green Sea.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Green Sea Baptist Church. The Rev. Perry Malphrus will officiate.
Burial will be in Green Sea Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Green Sea Baptist Church, 1241 Green Sea Road, Green Sea, SC 29545.
