KINGSTREE - Anna Belle Smith Floyd, 96, widow of Leland Floyd, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at a Florence nursing home.

She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Smith and Sarah Howard Smith.

She was an avid gardener and the oldest member of Kingstree Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Myers L. Floyd of Conway and Joe Ellis Floyd of Kingstree; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Kingstree Second Baptist Church. The Rev. Don Witherspoon will officiate. Burial will be in in Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery.

Williamsburg Funeral Home is in charge.
