Services for Daniel Lee "Danny" Barfield will be held 5:00 P.M. Thursday in Mt. Andrew United Methodist Church with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Mr. Barfield, 44, died Monday, May 20, 2002 at his residence.

Born in Dillon County, February 7, 1958, he was the son of Arnettie Herring Barfield and the late Claude Brook Barfield. He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church and was a Farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Barfield of Latta; daughters, Jennifer Barfield and Ashley Barfield, both of Latta; mother, Arnettie Herring Barfield of Latta; sisters, Lynette Jackson, Bonnie Kay Barfield, both of Latta, Wanda Gail Berry of Marion, Helen Hulon of Salisbury, NC, Claudia Sanders of Myrtle Beach, Edna Faye Lollis of Anderson and Joyce Dewberry of GA; brothers, William Larry Barfield of Graham, NC, Harold Barfield and Joe Curtis Barfield, both of Laurnes, Billy Ray Barfield and Johnny Wayne Barfield, both of Latta.
