LITTLE RIVER - Lee Douglas Gause, 50, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after an illness.

He was born April 27, 1952, in the Brooksville section of Little River, a son of the late Ray D. and Mary E. Wilson Gause.

He attended Horry County Schools.

Survivors include three sisters, Carrie Bellamy and Alicetine Woodbury of Charleston and Vera Woodbury of Conway; five brothers, Richard Gause of Conway, Curtis Gause of Loris and Roy Gause, Vance Gause and Matthew Gause, all of Brooksville.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Mount Calvary No. 2 Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Latimer's Funeral Home is in charge.
