I did not know that John L. Richardson was a son of Benjamin "Bennie"
Alston Richardson (1882-1963) and Temperance Corneilia Sessions Richardson
(1874-1953). Bennie Richardson was the son of Joseph Leander "Leander"
Richardson (ca 1849-) and Eva Catherine "Katie" Jordan Richardson (ca
1856-). Temperance Corneilia Sessions was the daughter of John Marion
Sessions (1845-1927) and Rhoda "Rhodie" Jordan Sessions (1853-1907). From
the best I can tell Katie and Rhodie Jordan were sisters. When Bennie
Richardson died it listed that he had two granddaughters: Mrs. Alton Skipper
and Mrs. Truluck Skipper. I assume they must have been daughters of John L.
Richardson. Bennie Richardson's was married at the time of his death to a
Belle Martin. John L. Richardson's wife was Mellie Pidgeon Jordan
(1896-1971). Mellie Pidgeon Jordan was the daughter of Joseph Franklin
Jordan and Mellie Ida Hyman.
