Thanks for the reply Mike. Yes they have. The SCDAH web page has the
new hours. I've also check with the South Caroliniana Library and the
museum for their hours. I've search their online catelog and have a list
of items to check.

Think I might invest in a phone call and see what the hours are. Think
that I read that the are closed at night and week ends due to budget.

I'm very close to finalizing a trip to Columbia to conduct research into
my GRAHAM line. One my list of places to visit is the Archives, the
South Caroliniana Library, and the Confederate Relic Room & Museum.
Since this will be my first trip any pointers would be appreciated. Any
recommendations on where to stay? I get points with Holiday Inn :-) I'm
planning two days each for the Archives and library with a day for the
museum. Is that too little?
