Ed, that would be Matthias Vaught Todd, b. abt 1810, son of Thomas Durant Todd, b. 1785 and Sarah Vaught, b. 1785. As you know, Thomas Durant Todd was son of our Richard Todd and Amelia Durant. Sarah Vaught was daughter of Mathias Vaught and our Martha Mercy Todd.

On p. 51, at family 723, of the 1850 Horry Co. census, there appears the household of a M. V. TODD, age 40, Eliza, age 40, Sarah J., age 5 and, a son, E., age 2. Does anyone know what the initials, "M. V." stand for? Who were his parents and siblings?
