I am trying to sort out the family relationships between these men living in Detroit in the late 1800s. My husband's grandmother was Agnes Schramm, daughter of Charles Schramm who immigrated in 1885 from Holstein, Germany. After going through all the census and directory information I have come up with a possible family tree:
Detlef (b. 1819) & Wilheminae
Children:
1) Detlef (b. 1852) m. Mary
2) Charles (b. 1864) m. Anna Kreeger
3) Dietrich (b. 1866) m. Lydia
4) William F. (b. 7 Apr 1868) m. Bertha
Detlef Johann Schramm b. abt. 1819
Married Christina Wilhelmine Brix b. 25 Jul 1831 in Schweldholm, Toestrup, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany on 5 DEC 1858 in Toestrup

The brothers had a business: 'Schramm Brothers' doing market gardening in North Detroit. Would like to find any other descendants from this family to compare information with. Have wondered if there's a connection to Schramm's in Macomb and Saginaw (Charles was living in Saginaw in the 1920s).
