Charles L. Schwartz that I have lived in Lewis County NY and had a son Charles L. Jr. of Syracuse NY- who also had a son Charles L. and maybe a daughter Wilburta? there were several Charles' and a Charles H. of Greenmount, Canada.

Senior Charles L. also had daughters Edith, Margaret, Laura. Edith I believe was the youngest child and was raised by Barnard Schwartz- Edith and Margaret had a maternity home named Idle Ease and when I was young (early 60's) I knew them and recalled when they passed away.

I take it that Ediths mother died when she was young- there was some talk that her father lived in Harrisville Ny and maybe remarried? I believe the girls cared for him when he was ill in old age but they always lived with Barnard (Barney) and he left them a house and money to build a large addition for their birthing hospital.
