Hi,
I'm looking for information about Joseph LEE, Esq, of the Lancaster
District of SC as early as 1789 (maybe earlier) through early 1800s . In
various court records of the late 1700s and early 1800s, he was referred to
as Judge of Lancaster Co., Justice of the Peace (also as Q.U. and J.Q.). He
was married to Catherine C. ______?
Next, I'm looking for info on Thomas LEE, Sheriff of Lancaster District,
SC in the early 1800s. His wife was Mary ____ LEE.
Last, but not least, I'm looking for info on Robert LEE during the same
time period in the same place.
How were these Lees related? From which Lees did they descend? Are any
of their descendants out there anywhere?
One last question: Who knows anything about some Lees who came from
England to this country by way of Barbados?
