I'm trying to find where my gg-grandfather, Maj John Adam Eichelberger and his wife Leonora Emma Long, are buried in Laurens County. I don't have access to the Laurens Burying Grounds and Cemeteries, Vol II, so I wonder if I can get a friendly person to do a lookup for me. I need the dates checked as well, plus if any other Eichelbergers are in the cemetery, I'd like to know.

The dates I have for Maj Eichelberger are abt. 1810-September 15 1896. Leonora Emma Long (Eichelberger) is 2/28/1818-1/12/1894.

During the Civil War, Maj Eichelberger owned the house in Laurens now known as the Simpson house. He bought the house in 1849 and sold it in 1870 to William Dunlop Simpson, later Gov of SC.

Thank you so very much...
Sandra Eichelberger
