I found my cemetery record book for Lexington. I see Joseph Preston
Clark buried at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Lexington, SC 119 N. Church
Street Lexington, SC organized 1830
Joseph Preston Clark 08 Mar 1859/08 Feb 1946
Nettie B. Clark 25 Oct 1875-04 May 1961
As I see it you should be able to get a death certificate from the
lexington county birth and death record office. I am not sure which
office it is. Hopefully the person who gave the info put her parents name
on the record.
There is also a Annie J. Clark listed 11 Nov 1905-
Hope this helps

had more children than you listed including J. Preston Clark...does the
1870 census show any mention of him? I'm trying to find out the maiden
name of his wife Nettie (my gg-gm).

info you provided and found a survey and directions....I plan to drive out
