Brenda, Thanks so much for the link. We are looking for Thomas Taylor; his
Confederate Army military record tells us that he was born October 1823 in
Lexington District, South Carolina. I don't know what counties were
included in Lexington District during the 1820's, but other relatives have
said he came from "Richland".
